Origins:

Carlos Antonio Aligneri was born in Italy 1988. Little is known about his past more than that he was adopted by a christian missionary who later moved to Rwanda, Africa. His early life was rather happy with good education and a good relationship to his father. However, that all changed during the Rwandian Genocide in 1994 when his father was brutally murdered by Hutu-extremists for trying to protect the Tutsi-minority.

This event traumitized Carlos who later seeked refuge to another christian movement, called the Anchor-Cross Legion. This one was more extreme and secretive and Carlos annexed a total christian lifestyle. The trauma from the events of his father's death however never left him and in his teenage years, Carlos began to turn violent. The other members of the Anchor-Cross Legion realized this and knew how to take advantage of it. He was trained to become a personal assassin for the legion to kill important enemies who opposed the laws and order of it.

Appearance:
Carlos is clothed in a brown hoodie that kind of represents a modern version of older-times' monk-robes. He's got black hair and brown pants. Around his neck he's got a crucifix-necklace.

Faults and weaknesses:
As a mortal human being, Carlos doesn't have any special powers at all. In fact, he is weakly built physically and can be slow at times, due to self agonizing in order to suffer like Christ did at the cross. He is also mentally unstable and only trusts his employers from the Anchor-Cross Legion. As a religious fanatic he is also very stubborn and is easily offended if someone disagrees with his beliefs.

Trivia:
* Carlos Aligneri is mainly inspired by the character of Silas from Dan Brown's book "The Da Vinci Code" and acts as an example of how bad religious extremism is.
* The christian movement, the Anchor-Cross Legion, is a fictional one inspired by several secretive both religious and non-religious movements, groups and gatherings. One of the main inspirations is DC-comic's fictional secretive crime organisation - the Court of Owls.
